I am a Washington girl at heart, raised right here in the PNW. I attended classes at the Evergreen College in education and graduated with a focus in early childhood education and development. My passion and joy comes from working with the early schooling ages and learning as much from them as I hope they do from me.
My goal is to bring a well rounded program to the Capitol Forest Coop that nurtures and develops our youngest learners socially, emotionally, and educationally. Our goal is to set a strong foundation and confidence for the remainder of their educational journey. I l believe education is a partnership between student, teacher and parents which is what draws me to the coop environment.
When I am not teaching you can find me outdoors adventuring with my family, I have two kiddos ages 6 and 8. We love to hike, bike and camp. On rainy days find us at home playing board games or rooting on the Seahawks (except for my husband who is a 49ers fan and will not be converted).
